Treskavica is known to locals as the most beautiful of all mountains surounding Sarajevo. Seven glacial lakes and 365 water sources make it the most water abundant mountain in Bosnia.
The tour starts in a forest and takes us just under striking Oblik peak. We will visit Zmijsko lake and then continue up to the peak itself for amazing views on Sarajevo from far away.Trail continues to Black and Great lakes. If the weather and time allow, we can even swim in the cold waters.
Note: The trail itself does not pass anywhere near minefields which, unfortunately, are many on Treskavica.
Treskavica is the most beautiful of all mountains around Sarajevo. This hike will show us only a small part, but probably the most beautiful one. We will visit (and maybe take a swim) in two glacial lakes: Veliko and Crno
